Update: We will open at 5:30pm on Tuesday, January 30th.
We are located at 1702 S Broadway and Osie, just a block from our old
location.
In November, Streetlight distributed 342 food boxes to families representing
1,328 people. We gave out the normal meat and bread along with potatoes,
apples, eggs and yogurt. We are trying hard in cooperation with the Kansas
Food Bank, to hand out more nutritious food items. We also gave out an
estimated 40 or so jackets, hoodies, and winter coats.
On Jan. 23rd we distributed 150 food boxes to families representing 608
people. This makes 441 food boxes so far in January.
We would like to give special thanks to the lady who gave Lois the best gift
ever... a tiny baby Jesus. Also very special to us are our friends who give
their time and energy to help us every Tuesday that we are open. We are so
very blessed to know you all.
