Update: We will open at 5:30pm on Tuesday, May 22nd. On Tuesday the 8th
we were able to distribute 136 food boxes to families representing 533
people.
We are located at 1702 S Broadway and Osie, just a block from our old
location.
In April, Streetlight distributed 550 food boxes to families representing 2,063
people. We gave out the normal meat and bread along with potatoes, Sierra
Mist, and USDA Chicken. We are trying hard in cooperation with the Kansas
Food Bank, to hand out more nutritious food items.
We reached a milestone in the life of the Food Distribution Centers. Since
opening in June, 2009 we have handed out 11,006 food boxes to families
representing 50,323 people.
